Today I'm sharing my wonderful experience participating in the Midwest Mujeres  Ambassador Program. This program aims to create meaningful connections between the Latino community and the public libraries, the ambassador program ensures that more families feel welcome and informed about the opportunities available for them. As well as organized events celebrating our culture and empowering women. Our first event was the Celebration of the "Day of the death" where families in our community learned about this tradition, we had a beautiful altar, and we offered different activities for the adults and children. The first presenter was Terra Fletcher who talked about How to Attract Talent and Improve Your Employer Brand Online, definitely this was an eye opener for me because I did not realize the importance of this subject and focus on branding to get the right talent for my organization is key. I am planning to do audits more often and make sure all platforms are aligned with each other.
